Lozovo/Karbinci, 22 April 2024 (MIA) - Today, we are closing a historic episode because what I witnessed across Macedonia, the energy, and the emotions felt from the Macedonian people, are truly profound. The people are uniting around the call for change, and it’s up to us to determine the intensity of these changes will be and the number of MPs for VMRO-DPMNE and the 'Your Macedonia' coalition as well as the future president, Professor Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said at Monday’s rally in the municipality of Lozovo.
He urged for massive voter turnout on Wednesday to prevent potential growth of DUI.
“On Wednesday, our first goal should be to have mass turnout, thereby preventing the potential growth of DUI and ensuring that in the third election district, Ali Ahmeti does not have an MP. After these elections, Ali Ahmeti should go into opposition, along with the few who still remain loyal to the DUI leadership, and be held accountable for everything they did to Macedonia,” Mickoski said.
Addressing the residents of the municipality of Shtip, Lozovo, Dragan Kovachki, the VMRO-DPMNE’s list principal in the third election district, noted that the Program allocates €250 million each year from the central budget to the municipalities for their development.
"For the Municipality of Lozovo, we plan €1.2 million, which mean new infrastructure projects solely in Lozovo. All these projects outlined in the program, believe me, will be implemented,” Kovachki said.
He further stated that the current government officials are more concerned about remaining in power than serving the citizens. Hence, strong support is crucial on April 24 for Gordana Siljanovska Davkova and on May 8 for the VMRO-DPMNE list of MP candidates, aiming to initiate positive changes.
VMRO-DPMNE also met the residents of the municipality of Karbinci for the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections. The final rallies for the first round of presidential elections by VMRO-DPMNE will take place tonight in Probishtip and Shtip.
