Brussels, 20 September 2024 (MIA) - With the current momentum in European Union enlargement, North Macedonia has a real opportunity to advance on the EU path and join our family, says European Council President Charles Michel after yesterday's meeting with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski in Brussels.

"Welcomed Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski in Brussels and commended North Macedonia's geostrategic orientation and commitment to EU membership," Michel wrote in a post on X.

He adds, "it is now key to implement past commitments, respect legally binding agreements and continue EU-related reforms with determination."
