Skopje – The Blazhe Koneski Faculty of Philology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is hosting a formal session on Tuesday to mark 80 years since the Macedonian language was declared an official language.

Skopje - The amendment debate on 2025 draft-budget continues Tuesday in the Parliamentary Finance and Budget Committee.

Skopje – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski, who is on working visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Interior from November 24 to 27, signed two memorandums of understandings in Abu Dhabi during an official meeting with Interior Minister Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The memorandums cover security cooperation and fight against terrorism, as well as mutual recognition and replacement of driving licences between the two countries.

Skopje - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is participating in the annual conference "Rome MED Dialogues" on November 25-26 in Rome, where he addressed the "New EU Commission, Old EU Priorities" panel.

Skopje - Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska Kochoska is participating in the plenary meeting of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of Information for Tax Purposes of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), taking place in Paraguay through November 29. 

Skopje - Skopje's Public Transport Enterprise (JSP) received six new eco-friendly buses on Tuesday donated by the European Union through the EU-funded programme “EU4CleanAir”.

Skopje - The fight against corruption is a priority and young people should be encouraged to recognize and resist corruption in their everyday lives. This is the main message of the event "My Anti-Corruption Diary" which aims to educate and empower young people and young political leaders about ethical leadership and accountable governance. 

Skopje - North Macedonia and Japan signed Tuesday a Memorandum of Understanding on Cultural Cooperation. The document, which aims to bring the two cultures closer together, was signed by Minister of Culture and Tourism Zoran Ljutkov and Japan's Commissioner for Cultural Affairs, Shunichi Tokura, in Skopje. 

Skopje - Incumbent Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska told journalists Tuesday she won’t be seeking reelection at the country’s next local elections in 2025, adding that the situation in the country is “extremely polarized” and she doesn’t intend to work with people “who are only capable of sabotage”.  

Washington - US President-elect Donald Trump on Monday said that, once he returns to the White House, he will impose high import tariffs on all goods from Mexico and Canada as well as additional tariffs on Chinese imports.

Washington - China has responded to US President-elect Donald Trump's announcement of additional tariffs on its goods, saying there are no winners in trade wars.

London – Foreign Secretary David Lammy has said the UK is not sending troops into Ukraine, after a news report suggested that Britain and France are discussing the option.

Berlin - Former Formula One world champion Mario Andretti has confirmed he will have a role with the new Cadillac team which is set to join the grid in 2026.
