MFAFT ‘strongly condemns’ Russian missile attack on Kiev, says building housing North Macedonia’s embassy damaged

Skopje, 20 December 2024 (MIA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade has said it strongly condemns Friday’s Russian missile attack on Kiev, adding that North Macedonia's Embassy in Ukraine was damaged in the strike.
The Ministry noted that the attack damaged critical infrastructure as well as a building that houses six embassies, including the Embassy of the Republic of North Macedonia.
“No diplomatic staff were injured, but the attack caused material damage to the Embassy. The relevant services have carried out an initial assessment of the damage on the ground, and repair work is already underway,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a statement Friday following the attack.
