MFA: No injured nationals at Kazakhstan protests
Skopje, 7 January 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia’s Foreign Ministry has said that after contacting some of them, the country’s nationals currently staying in Kazakhstan are safe and no one has been injured or is at risk.
“The Foreign Ministry (MFA) is following the developments in Kazakhstan and is in constant contacts with North Macedonia’s embassy in Nur-Sultan and with the relevant institutions from the countries in the region in order to provide the necessary information for the Macedonian nationals,” it said in a statement.
The Ministry calls on all North Macedonia’s nationals currently in Kazakhstan to remain in safe locations, not to leave their hotels and accommodation facilities and to avoid gatherings at public locations. It also advises against traveling to Kazakhstan at the moment.
