MFA: Inaccurate information shared again on protocol to disrupt consultation process involving proposal
Skopje, 11 July 2022 (MIA) - The Foreign Ministry (MFA) said inaccurate information about the content of the protocol between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, the written record from the joint intergovernmental commission stemming from the 2017 Friendship Agreement, has again been shared. A text in Bulgarian has been shared publicly, which is an old and incomplete version as part of the numerous set of ideas shared over the recent period between the two foreign ministries, it said in a press release Monday. "In these sensitive times, we believe that the sharing of inaccurate information is a partial attempt aimed at disrupting the wide-ranging process of consultations over the French proposal to lift the veto and resume the country's EU integration process, which is currently in a final stage in North Macedonia's Parliament, said the MFA. The content of the possible protocol between the two countries as a written record from the future session of the joint intergovernmental commission will be aligned fully at the commission's session itself, stated the press release.
