MFA hosts 'Women in Foreign Policy' international conference
Skopje, 12 October 2022 (MIA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fatmire Isaki will host the second “Women in Foreign Policy” international conference in Skopje on October 13-14. This year’s conference, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will touch upon topics such as the inclusion of women in international relations, their role in creating policies, leading negotiations, dealing with conflicts and securing sustainable peace. The aim of the conference is to share experiences related to achieving a staff entirely representative of the population, through the inclusion of the gender aspect in the field of foreign policy. The conference will be held under the auspices of Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, and it is expected that a large number of state officials, prominent figures from the political community and the expert public, diplomats from the region and beyond, as well as representatives of the youth organizations in the country will attend. By sharing their experiences, the participants will strengthen the WB6 Network of Women in Foreign Policy, which in the future will be open to cooperation with other international networks. ad/ik/
