Marichikj-Abazović: Continuation of reforms for stable Western Balkans
Skopje, 26 November 2021 (MIA) – Minister of Justice Bojan Marichikj met on Friday in Podgorica with the Montenegrin Deputy PM Dritan Abazović and discussed reforms and the European perspectives of Western Balkan countries. Interlocutors, the Justice Ministry said in a press release, stressed close and friendly bilateral relations, as well as need for intensifying cooperation through exchange of experiences in the judiciary and rule of law. “North Macedonia and Montenegro have excellent cooperation, honest friendship and no unresolved disputes. The only thing we have to improve is cooperation and learn from their  experiences in the EU accession negotiations process,” Marichikj said. The Justice Minister, who is paying a two-day visit to Montenegro will also meet with Montenegrin counterpart Sergej Sekulović, as well as state secretaries at the ministry, and address a panel on the EU integration policies in the Western Balkans.
