Skopje, 16 November 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj met Thursday with France's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, René Troccaz, discussing current developments, the screening process, reforms and the EU accession path.

Marichikj and Troccaz agreed that European integration is the only and optimal solution for North Macedonia, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.

It adds that France's voice is extremely important for North Macedonia in the accomplishment of the country's strategic objective of full-fledged Union membership.

Interlocutors agreed that both countries remain committed to North Macedonia's European prospects, stability in the Western Balkans and Europe, reads the press release.
