Skopje, 29 November 2023 (MIA) - Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj met late Wednesday with Moldova Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, highlighting North Macedonia's support to Moldova's sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence, as well as its EU accession aspirations.

"Moldova is our regional friend and we support the opening of its EU accession negotiations. Sharing experiences in the negotiating process contributes to enhancement of relations with our friends, for the purpose of jointly contributing to the promotion of regional cooperation and integration," said Deputy PM Marichikj.

Marichikj and Popescu met on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Skopje, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.
