Skopje, 2 February 2022 (MIA) — During their working visit to Paris, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani met Wednesday with Isabelle Dumont, Continental Europe and Turkey Advisor in the Office of French President Emmanuel Macron.
“France and North Macedonia have set their European perspectives on a shared path, building the foundation of a more stable, more efficient and safer Europe,” Osmani said in a Facebook post.
“It is very important for us that France supports North Macedonia’s EU integration process, through clearly set standards and without wasting any time,” he wrote.
Osmani added that the countries’ “strengthened economic and overall bilateral cooperation, as well as being NATO allies, are additional benchmarks that bind us to one another to cooperate and support each other."
Next, Osmani and Marichikj in Paris are set to meet with French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clément Beaune. mr/
