Marichikj: North Macedonia's European integration a strategic plan and priority of country and citizens

Skopje, 13 May 2024 (MIA) - Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj met Monday with Hungarian Ambassador Andras Klein, who presented the priorities of the country's EU Presidency in the second half of 2024, aimed at strengthening the European integration process.
Deputy PM Marichikj said the country's Europeanization must continue at a strong pace, highlighting the important decisions that are needed for further realization of the strategic goals of North Macedonia and the region, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release.
Marichikj added that the European integration represents a strategic plan and priority for North Macedonia and its citizens.
Ambassador Klein noted the success and results in the Euro-integration process, the screening process and the start of the accession negotiations, along with the preparations for realization of the country's European agenda, reads the press release.
