Marichikj, Grigoryan affirm UNDP support for reform implementation 
Skopje, 9 November 2022 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj met Wednesday with UNDP Resident Representative to North Macedonia, Armen Grigoryan, to discuss the UN agency's support for the implementation of reform projects. At the meeting, Marichikj thanked Grigoryan for the UN and the UN agencies being a decades-long partner of the country in meeting an inclusive and sustainable development and achieving reform goals stemming from the national priorities, the Secretariat for European Affairs said. Discussing the course of the accession process and the European reforms implemented by the government, Marichikj and Grigoryan said that cooperation with the UN is an excellent example for inclusive donor support that takes into account all relevant stakeholders, including national and local authorities, civil organizations, donors, the private sector, the media in the process of applying the support. UN priorities for North Macedonia, Grigoryan said, according to the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2021 – 2025 are sustainable and inclusive economic and social development, social activities, natural resources and disaster risk management, transparent and responsible democratic governance that are fully in line with the national priorities for development and full-fledged EU membership. During the meeting, the two interlocutors shared views over UNDP support for reform projects and other ways to intensify the cooperation, said the press release. UNDP has implemented over 200 projects since the country's declaration of independence, worth over EUR 66 million, that were financed or co-financed by other donors.
