Skopje, 13 May 2022 (MIA) – Industrial turnover in March increased by 17.5% compared to the same month in 2021, show statistical data released Friday. A rise was recorded in intermediate goods,except energy by 39.5%, capital goods by 3.8%, durable consumer goods by 21.4% and non-durable consumer goods by 12%, said the State Statistical Office. The turnover index in industry rose compared to February by 12.3% as well as in the period from January to March 2022 in comparison with the same period last year by 16.8%. The turnover index in industry on the domestic market in March compared to March 2021 increased by 19.6% and by 29.9% compared to February 2022. On foreign markets, there was an increase of 16.2% compared to March 2021 and by 8.2% compared to February 2022.
