Skopje, 4 December 2024 (MIA) — The Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts will host a book launch for its newly published Dictionary of Chemistry at noon.

The terminological dictionary was written and edited by lexicographers from MASA's Georgi Stardelov Lexicographers Center and chemistry scholars from the Society of Chemists and Technologists of Macedonia.

It was published as part of the long-term project Macedonian Scientific and Professional Terminology, initiated by MASA's first president, Blazhe Koneski, in 1968.

Current MASA president, Zhivko Popov, will speak at the launch. He will be joined by Macedonian Scientific and Professional Terminology project head Vitomir Mitevski, chemistry professor Valentin Mircheski, and Chemistry Terminology project head Gligor Jovanovski. mr/
