Skopje, 9 October 2024 (MIA) -- Works by Macedonian fashion designers and craftspeople will be on display at the BIG Design Ljubljana 2024 international trade show to be held in Slovenia's capital on Oct.10-12.

The BIG Design trade show will open at Ljubljana's city center on Thursday at noon, showcasing pieces by over 40 international participants. They include members of Lab Design Market, the Macedonian community of designers and craftspeople: Armma, Ludus, Mamka, Mikka Design, Marinov, Elena Ristovska, Ksenija Kotev, Dana Ando, Epoxy, Nomad, Le Brand, Serbez, and Solar.

The event is organized by the South-East European BIG SEE creative industries’ hub for people, projects, products and habitats shaping a sustainable future.

BIG was founded in the early 2000s as a Slovenian promotor of quality architecture and design, hosting two national award and trade shows and conferences and publishing the award-winning magazine Hiše (“Houses”, until 2023). In the mid-2010s, it expanded its events to include South-East European participants and began publishing the magazine “see” (since May 2024).

BIG SEE works to empower and encourage global creative industries to change the ways people live, work and consume, promoting sustainable products and projects that are better for the environment. mr/
