Macedonian actor Mitko Apostolovski dies at 67
Skopje, 5 August 2022 (MIA) – Celebrated Macedonian stage and film actor Mitko Apostolovski has died aged 67.   His colleague Petar Gorko shared the news of his death on Facebook.   “Rest in peace, my colleague, friend, wonderful man. The loss I feel is overwhelming. May your memory live on forever,” Gorko said in his post.   Mitko Apostolovski was born in Bitola on March 7, 1955. He graduated from the Department of Drama Actors at the Higher School of Music in Skopje. He worked at the National Theater in Bitola (1973-1974) and the National Theater in Kumanovo (1980-1995).   Throughout his career he had starred in numerous roles and will be remembered for his applauding contribution in films including Ivo Trajkov’s The Great Water, Darko Mitrevski’s The Third Half, and Stole Popov’s To the Hilt.
