Skopje, 27 August 2023 (MIA) — Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga spoke with the Attorney General of Switzerland Stefan Blättler in a telephone conversation on strengthening North Macedonia's capacities to fight against crime and corruption.

In a Facebook post, Minister Lloga said the conversation was aimed at "opening a new window of state and professional relations with the Swiss prosecution bodies."

"We are strengthening our capacities for an uncompromising fight against crime and corruption, using the support and experience of our friends," he wrote.

Cooperation should include "fighting against organized crime, the dirty money of politicians and oligarchs, help to reform the justice system, etc.," the justice minister wrote, announcing "further high-level meetings with my Swiss colleague, soon." mr/
