Skopje, 27 December 2021 (MIA) – Deputy PM in charge of fight against corruption and crime, sustainable development and human resources Ljupcho Nikolovski has resigned from the position of SDSM secretary general. He expressed special thanks to former SDSM leader Zoran Zaev and all party members. “SDSM today is the largest, most modern, digitalized, dynamic and European party. I wish Kovachevski and the new leadership a lot of wisdom, unity, and for them to upkeep values,” read Nikolovski’s resignation. Earlier on Monday, Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski resigned from the post SDSM vice-president, announcing that he will not be part of the new leadership. The SDSM Central Board will hold a session on Monday evening. The Board will also vote on the election of new vice-presidents, a secretary general and an executive board.
