Skopje, 4 April 2023 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski will attend Tuesday an event launching the construction works on Corridor VIII motorway section Tetovo-Gostivar.

The event will also include First Deputy PM Artan Grubi, Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski and State Roads public enterprise director Ejup Rustemi, the Government said in a press release.

U.S.-Turkish consortium "Bechtel-Enka" is set to build the 17.5km-long Tetovo-Gostivar motorway, which is expected to cost EUR 125 million.

The other three sections encompassed with the EUR 1.3 billion contract are Gostivar-Bukojchani, Trebenishte-Struga-Kjafasan and Prilep-Bitola.
