Skopje, 11 April 2024 (MIA) – A large quantity of illicit items have been discovered during searches conducted Thursday morning at the Idrizovo penitentiary for the purpose of collecting evidence, Zoran Jovanovski, warden of the Skopje-based prison, told MIA.

The searches have been concluded, he said.  

“In an operation coordinated by the Skopje Basic Public Prosecution, due to suspicion of crimes being committed, searches were conducted this morning at the Idrizovo penitentiary for the purpose of collecting evidence,” the Skopje prosecution said earlier.
