Skopje, 10 April 2022 (MIA) - Kindergartens will also remain open and provide care and education of children during the days of the announced strike of the Independent Trade Union for Education, Science and Culture (SONK), the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy said in a press release on Sunday. In regard to the announced strike by SONK and in kindergartens as well, whereat the right to strike of staff is guaranteed by the Constitution, the Labour Ministry said while exercising the right to strike, employees are obliged to provide regular care services to preschool children. According to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, providing care of the children is a priority, and the protection of their rights is our common responsibility.
