Skopje, 5 August 2021 (MIA) – The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy is calling on unvaccinated kindergarten workers to get jabbed, in order to ensure activities at kindergartens resume uninterrupted amid the pandemic. “We urge all kindergarten staff to ensure the vaccination process resumes with the same speed over the summer. Nearly 60% of kindergarten workers have been vaccinated and we’re calling on the remaining 40% to do so as well, in order to ensure children’s safety. This is the only way for kindergartens to fully reopen in the fall,” the Labor Ministry said in a press release on Thursday. Preschool workers, it added, have demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism by fully abiding to COVID-19 protocols for curbing the spread of the virus. “Public health, and especially that of the youngest citizens, is our top priority. Therefore, it’s crucial we all put in efforts to ensure their safety at kindergartens,” underlined the release.
