Skopje, 8 July 2021 (MIA) – Ahead of the second ministerial meeting on employment and social affairs between EU and Western Balkans in Slovenia, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska posted on Facebook she has exchanged views with the European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, on the challenges facing the labor market after the COVID-19 pandemic. Shahpaska points out that the conversation with Schmit was informal, but productive. “The pandemic has also affected young people around the world. That’s why it is our duty to create conditions for young people to move forward fast. We also talked about our expectations from the Slovenian EU Presidency, and North Macedonia’s unequivocal commitment to become part of the European family,” Shahpaska said.
