Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - SDSM spokesperson Bogdanka Kuzeska said Wednesday's elections were fair and democratic, with minor violations of the electoral process they consider as exceptions.

"We would like to thank the citizens who came out today and cast their vote. The right of free choice is the most valuable benefit of democracy, and voting represents the citizens' power to decide about their future and the future of their country," Kuzeska told a press conference.

She added they are expecting the preliminary results, while expressing assurance that citizens will support the country's European future both today and on May 8.
