Kovachevski, Vucic and Rama to sign agreement on mutual recognition of diplomas, post-graduate degrees
Skopje, 6 June 2022 (MIA) – The Government passed Monday amendments to the agreement on cooperation among countries of the Western Balkans in the field of mutual recognition of diplomas and post-graduate degrees issued by universities and other authorized institutions. The agreement will be signed at the Open Balkan Summit in Ohrid on June 8 by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Government said in a press release. The Government has also extended the state of crisis at a portion of the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia by 31 December 2022. The extension is made because of a high risk of migrant entry and transit and protection of public health from illegal migration amid the COVID-19 pandemic and prevention of its spread, reads the press release.
