Kovachevski: UAE have put North Macedonia among priority countries for future investments
Skopje, 19 October 2022 (MIA) - Investment opportunities and sectors with potential to attract fresh capital were presented at Wednesday’s meeting in Abu Dhabi between Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and the United Arab Emirates International Investors Council (UAEIIC) Secretary General Jamal Bin Saif Al Jarwan. UAEIIC has the role to refer and inform UAE companies where to invest their capital and provides guidelines over their investment activities, the Government said in a press release. The Council focuses on investments in telecommunications, real estate, tourism, renewable sources, infrastructure, health and food industry. PM Kovachevski said it is very significant in the energy sector is diversification of energy resources, with projects being implemented that will reduce the dependency and supply of energy resources on the mid and long run. Interlocutors discussed ways and methods to use all potentials at disposal to increase trade exchange that will contribute to a higher growth, reads the press release.
