Kovachevski: Positive news from negotiations with creditors in coming days
Skopje, 7 October 2022 (MIA) – The Government is working towards continued economic activities, support for most vulnerable groups, Budget liquidity and the economy in general, says Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski. PM Kovachevski told TV21 there are positive developments in the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), focused on securing funds for management of the energy crisis. “The Finance Minister will share positive news in the coming days regarding the economy, the Budget and the citizens, considering the negotiations with IMF and other financial institutions and creditors,” says Kovachevski. He reiterated that measures for the most vulnerable groups are in the pipeline, along with calculations for subsidizing of companies over the electricity price and its procurement through direct agreements with other countries at a lower price.
