Skopje, 23 September 2022 (MIA) - On the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski met Friday with a delegation of the American Jewish Committee, led by President Michael Tichnor and Executive Director David Harris. Participants in the meeting expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between the Republic of North Macedonia and the American Jewish Committee, reaffirming commitment to include the Jewish community in the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia, the government said in a press release. The significance of the strategic partnership between the Republic of North Macedonia and the United States was also discussed, during which it was noted that the country remains a stable strategic partner and reliable ally of the United States. During the meeting, participants agreed that the Republic of North Macedonia and Israel maintain high level of bilateral relations as well as great potential for deepening cooperation in the areas of security, economy, trade, but also in energy, agriculture, start-ups and technology.
