Kovachevski: Epiphany a tradition reminding us to have faith in peace and coexistence

Skopje, 19 January 2024 (MIA) - The Epiphany celebration is an opportunity to become aware of the timeless message that in the nature of people is the chance to be a better person, said Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski who attended this year's Epiphany celebration alongside Minister of Interior Oliver Spasovski in Skopje on Friday.

PM Kovachevski extended Epiphany greetings and congratulated the 17-year-old boy who retrieved the cross, wishing him good luck.

"Epiphany is a great holiday. We are here in Skopje today, by the Vardar river where the Macedonian archbishop performed the Great Theophany Blessing of Water, but in all cities across the country this is a tradition that always reminds us to have faith in common life, to believe in peace and coexistence," PM Kovachevski said extending Epiphany greetings.
