Skopje, 13 October 2022 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski announced Thursday a new efficient system to support farmers. After the Government adopted a new model for financial support of agriculture and rural development, PM Kovachevski said electricity, heating and food must be available to all. “We have to help farmers so that we weather this crisis together, while ensuring stable food production,” said Kovachevski. The new model, he added, is created upon the European model, it is more efficient and adapted to the challenges that the crisis has ushered. “We must ensure that domestic food production is stable and sufficient, both for domestic needs but also for exports and strengthening of the economy,” noted Kovachevski.
