Skopje, 26 August 2022 (MIA) - Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and Sweden's outgoing Ambassador Kristin Forsgren Bengtsson at their meeting Friday reaffirmed the sincere friendship between the two countries and the principled cooperation that is being advanced. The two interlocutors concurred that Sweden's great support to the country's further progress in the EU integration process after the opening of negotiations continues as well as regarding reform implementation, the government said in a press release. PM Kovachevski thanked Ambassador Bengtsson for Sweden's support in all democratic processes in the country, including the reform processes considered important for the citizens as well as on the path to EU accession, said the press release. Talks also focused on activities as part of energy challenges and on other important issues not only for the country, but also for Europe and the rest of the world.
