Kovachevski: Balkan School Sports Games an example of our strong regional connectivity and unity
Skopje, 15 June 2022 (MIA) - The Balkan School Sports Games are an example of our strong regional connectivity and unity, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski said Wednesday addressing the closing ceremony of the event held in Ohrid. Certificates of appreciation were awarded to the seven Balkan countries participating with around 450 students at the closing ceremony of the games, which were held in the past four days. “Last week, the Open Balkan Summit was held, where together with my colleagues from the Western Balkan countries we talked and agreed on concrete cooperation and opening new opportunities for regional connectivity in all areas. The Open Balkan School Sports Games, which are attended by about 450 students from North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, show that our connection is real,” Kovachevski said. According to PM Kovachevski, the Government of North Macedonia is fully committed to creating programs to include greater number of young people and citizens in sports and recreational activities.
