Skopje, 10 November 2023 (MIA) – Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski attended Thursday a working dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace for heads of state and government participating in the Paris Peace Forum.

“The working dinner at the Élysée Palace, with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, is an excellent opportunity, ahead of the Paris Peace Forum, to share our commitment to joint action and efficient responses to current global challenges,” wrote Kovachevski on Facebook.

On Friday, Prime Minister Kovachevski attended the opening of the Paris Peace Forum, which aims to stimulate cooperation and search for solutions to global challenges.

The Forum, which was opened by French President Macron, brings together heads of state and government, and representatives of international organizations and the academic community.

At the Forum, Kovachevski is set to address a session on Addressing Inequalities and Accelerating SDGs.

As part of the visit to Paris, PM Kovachevski is to meet with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, James O'Brien.
