Kovachevski – Plenkovic: Croatia, North Macedonia committed to promoting common values

Skopje, 19 February 2023 (MIA) — Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski and Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj in Munich on Saturday met with Croatia’s Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

 

At the meeting, the prime ministers discussed the excellent bilateral relations and political dialogue as well as the countries’ constructive cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, the government said in a press release.

 

The two prime ministers said North Macedonia and Croatia were firmly committed to promoting common values and contributing to international peace operations as NATO allies. 

 

They also shared their views on the latest developments worldwide and their priorities to boost regional stability and prosperity.

 

Kovachevski thanked Plenkovic for the unwavering Croatian support for North Macedonia’s European integration process. mr/
