Skopje, 24 April 2024 (MIA) - The ethnic Albanian opposition thanked late Wednesday the voters who supported their presidential candidate Arben Taravari, while expecting to beat DUI at the May 8 parliamentary elections.
"Worth It is the winner of these elections and DUI has more votes because of the citizens who needed their money. Worth It is the legitimate representative of Albanians, whereas DUI has finally lost its legitimacy among Albanians. That is why we will win on May 8. It is important to highlight the fact that the results mean there is not much difference in MP seats and that is why we will win on May 8," said Besa leader Bilal Kasami.
Presidential candidate Arben Taravari said the difference is about 3,000-4,000 votes in the election districts dominated by ethnic Albanians, namely first, second and sixth.
He said they have not decided who to support in the runoff.
