Kasami: Constitutional amendments will be adopted, waiting on clear plan for European integration
- Bilal Kasami, leader of the Besa movement which is part of the 'Worth It' coalition, said the party maintains its position on adopting the constitutional amendments, but first the international partners, primarily the EU and the United States, should provide a clear plan on the country's European integration path forward.
Skopje, 8 October 2024 (MIA) - Bilal Kasami, leader of the Besa movement which is part of the 'Worth It' coalition, said the party maintains its position on adopting the constitutional amendments, but first the international partners, primarily the EU and the United States, should provide a clear plan on the country's European integration path forward.
"Constitutional amendments are only a prerequisite for continuing European integration, but further integration requires a partner in the EU with a clear plan on our path towards the EU. We are waiting on Brussels for a clear plan on how the integration process will continue," Kasami told TV 21's Click Plus show on Monday.
Asked if such a decision would be made by the end of the year, Kasami said he never gave deadlines.
