Justice Minister Lloga meets Austrian Ambassador Woutsas

Skopje, 17 March 2023 (MIA) - Justice Minister Krenar Lloga met Friday with Austrian Ambassador Georg Woutsas and briefed him on activities taken by the Ministry of Justice in the area of reforms in terms of electoral rules, bills in parliamentary procedure, the European integration process and the rule of law.
Participants in the meeting opened the issue of vetting and Minister Lloga said he expects full support from Austria and the international community in terms of implementing the process. Interlocutors also discussed the constitutional amendments and expectations for expert public debates on the topic to begin soon, the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.
Interlocutors also discussed about the upcoming working visit by Austrian Minister of Justice Alma Zadić to North Macedonia on March 29. Lloga and Woutsas agreed on details of the meeting and a memorandum of cooperation that is to be signed. Justice Ministers Lloga and Zadić will share practical experiences of both countries in the field of criminal and civil matters, and a joint workshop will be organized with experts from the two countries.
