Justice Minister Lloga and top prosecutor Abazi discuss case on modular hospitals

Skopje, 17 August 2023 (MIA) – The ongoing case related to the tender for the procurement of modular hospitals launched by Prosecutor's Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption was the focus of talks during Thursday’s meeting between Justice Minister Krenar Lloga and the head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption, Islam Abazi.
“They discussed the ongoing procedure in this Prosecutor's Office in connection with the tender for the procurement of modular hospitals, within which actions are taken with the aim of examining all the circumstances of the case, after which a decision will be taken,” the Ministry of Justice said in a press release.
Lloga and Abazi also discussed the Strategy on the Justice System Development 2023–2027 including the reforms that will be covered by it.
Top prosecutor Abazi briefed Minister Lloga on the last public procurement for the landscape plan of the new building, where the Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption will soon move, has been finalized.
“In this facility, the conditions for the work of public prosecutors will be significantly improved, and a modern forensic laboratory, which will significantly facilitate the evidence examination,” Abazi said.
