Skopje, 21 September 2022 (MIA) - The average monthly net wage paid per employee in July was Mden 31,812 (EUR 515), up 11.5 percent compared to the same month in 2021, the State Statistical Office said on Wednesday. This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Accommodation and food service activities (17.8%), Professional, scientific and technical activities (17.5%) and Arts, entertainment and recreation (16.3%). A decrease in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (4.3%), Mining and quarrying (3.9%) and Accommodation and food service activities (3.9%).
