Judicial Council President Vesna Dameva dismissed, new president to be elected tomorrow
Skopje, 26 April 2023 (MIA) - Vesna Dameva has been dismissed Wednesday as President of the Judicial Council.
After Dameva refused at Wednesday's Judicial Council session to put up for a vote an item that was not on the agenda, an argument followed, and her deputy Selim Ademi called to vote on her dismissal. Seven people voted in favor, after which Ademi stated that Dameva was dismissed and took over the session.
The Judicial Council told MIA that a session to elect a new president will be held on Thursday at 11 am.
