JSP buses continue to block in front of the Government, waiting for settlement of company’s debt
Skopje, 21 October 2022 (MIA) - The street in front of the Government is still blocked by buses of the Public Transport Enterprise (JSP), while the rest of the buses are operating normally this morning.
The president of the JSP Trade Union, Mikjo Stojanovski, said last night that by order of the Skopje mayor Danela Arsovska, 15 buses remained in front of the government.
“It is a kind of pressure on the Government to resolve as quickly as possible their clinch regarding the debts that the Government has to JSP for the block grants for the transportation of high school students and students in the city of Skopje,” said Stojanovski.
The City of Skopje claims that the Ministry of Education and Science owes them MKD 120 million for subsidies for transportation for university and high school students. dk/sk/
