Skopje, 22 January 2024 (MIA) – A family of four in North Macedonia needed Mden 57.163 to cover the minimal consumer basket in January 2024, said the Federation of Trade Union (SSM) on Monday.

Of this amount, Mden 21.007 or 36.7 percent were required for food and beverages, whereas the rest are allocated for hygiene, transport, clothing and shoes, arts, and healthcare

The consumer basket has increased by Mden 641 compared to the previous month, when it stood at Mden 56.522.
