Skopje, 20 November 2024 (MIA) – Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski met Wednesday with German Ambassador Petra Drexler to accept a German donation for the needs of the national police’s intervention unit.

The Interior Ministry said the total donation consists of 120 “anti-trauma” kits for maintaining public order and peace and support for the maintenance of specialized vehicles in the first stage, as well as additional equipment and training in the second stage of the donation. The Minister said the donation would significantly boost the unit’s capacities and contribute to the security of the citizens of Skopje.

At the meeting, Minister Toshkovski expressed his gratitude and readiness for future cooperation, support and enhancement of mutual relations in order to boost the capacities of the Interior Ministry.
