Skopje, 6 October 2024 (MIA) - Pollution is one of the ministry's priorities and we are working with our partners that provide grants, assistance, experience and knowledge. We are investing intensive efforts on this aspect, said First Deputy PM and Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Izet Mexhiti on Sunday.

"I believe that enlargement of the heating network in the city and the coming gasification of the country, along with the measures that we are undertaking, will slowly but surely solve this problem," said Minister Mexhiti and added there is not one measure to resolve the issue.

He said the Government has secured EUR 100 million for municipal projects across the country.

"We will solve problems that concern citizens. All municipalities have submitted good projects and the decision to distribute the funds will be taken this week," noted Mexhiti while adding that decisions will see no discrimination along partisan, political or ethnic lines.
