Industry turnover on the rise
Skopje, 12 August 2022 (MIA) – The turnover index in industry has increased by 19.2% on a yearly level and by 0.8% on a monthly level, whereas in the first six months of this year, it’s increased by 17.5% in comparison to the same period last year, statistics show. According to data of the State Statistical Office, the total turnover by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2022, in comparison with June 2021, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 13.3%, Capital goods by 26.6%, Durable consumer goods by 2.9% and Non-durable consumer goods by 17.0%. On the domestic market, industry turnover has increased in June by 9% yearly, i.e., 4.5% monthly, and it marks a 15% increase in the first six months of the year in relation to the same time last year. The turnover in industry on the domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2022, in comparison with June 2021, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 14.3%, Durable consumer goods by 4.8% and Non-durable consumer goods by 6.8%, but lower in Capital goods by 8.5%. The turnover in industry on the non-domestic market marks a 22% increase in June 2022 in relation to June 2021, it’s increased by 0.1% in comparison to may 2022, and it’s 17.8% higher than the same time last year. The turnover in industry on the non-domestic market by Main Industrial Groupings in June 2022, in comparison with June 2021, was higher in Intermediate goods, except energy by 13.4%, Capital goods by 26.7% and Non-durable consumer goods by 25.6%, but lower in Durable consumer goods by 9.0%. dk/ba/
