Skopje, 6 September 2024 (MIA) - The Government will observe Independence Day on Sunday through a programme under the motto "We Fight Together, We Will Triumph Together".

A formal academy will take place in the Skopje-based Macedonian Philharmonic at 1 pm, including a children's choir singing the anthem, pieces of Macedonian composers performed by the National Jazz Orchestra, and a video-clip of the 1991 independence celebrations.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski will also deliver remarks at the academy.

The event is part of the Government's broader initiative on raising the awareness over the significance of the country's independence and the citizens' fight for a better future, the Government said in a press release.
