In Belgrade, over 50 bomb alerts at 12 locations
Belgrade, 31 October 2022 (MIA) — More than 50 bomb threats at 12 sites across Belgrade were sent to several Serbian media outlets, MIA's Belgrade correspondent writes citing reports from the Belgrade press and the police. According to the media reports, the bomb claims were sent from a Gmail address saying explosives had been planted in the Embassy of Belarus; in the Ushce and Delta City malls; in three gambling houses; in a KFC restaurant; at the Nikola Tesla Airport; in the Faculty of Philosophy; the Belgrade University Rectorate; the University of Arts; in a student dormitory; and the Zemun hospital. “You are still Putin's Trojan horse in Europe, you are still taking pictures with Russian politicians, you are holding joint intelligence projects [...] Your whole country is stained with the blood of innocents and none of you have the courage to condemn it,” the email said, adding that "there will be blood up to your elbows." In addition to a series of threats and curses, the email also mentioned the supporters of Zheljko Razhnatovic Arkan, Vojislav Sheshelj, Vuk Drashkovic and the Wagner Group. The Serbian Ministry of the Interior said that some of the buildings were evacuated for bomb searches. mr/
