Skopje, 14 February 2023 (MIA) - Ilija Iko Karov's documentary film about the Bigorski Monastery, entitled '1000 years Witness of the Light', will be screened on Tuesday at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome. 

The film had its gala premiere at the Macedonian National Theater in April 2022. Tuesday's screening in the Institute at the Holy See has been made possible on the initiative of Macedonian Ambassador to the Holy See, Vatican, Marija Efremova, under the auspices of Commission for Relations with Religious Communities Director, Darijan Sotirovski.  

The film screening is to highlight the beauty and magnificence of the Macedonian spiritual and cultural heritage, blossoming in the Bigorski Monastery for more than thousand years.
