Zagreb, 18 September 2021 (Hina/MIA) - The Association of the Balkan News Agencies Southeast Europe (ABNA-SE) has elected Hina acting director Branka Gabriela Vojvodić as its secretary-general. The decision was made unanimously by the participants in the 29th ABNA-SE General Assembly, held alongside a regional conference on media and news agencies. Vojvodić succeeds Michael Psilos of the Greek ANA-MPA agency. The non-profit ABNA-SE was established in 1995 to develop cooperation between its members, 12 news agencies, and to establish a climate of peace, security and cooperation in the Balkans and Southeast Europe.
